This is a story of passion and determination — and the epitome of what can happen through the right connection. In 2018, David reached out to Sasa Sestic after reading his book. At the time, his coffees were hovering the specialty mark, and he was looking for ways to improve his quality and dive deeper into processing. It was David's aptitude, passion, and extension of community that captured Sasa's attention more than the coffees themselves.
As time passed, the two spent harvests together at Maguta Estate — adjusting techniques, investing in infrastructure, and training the team. It became clear very quickly that this partnership was heading somewhere incredible.
We have proudly featured his coffees from the start of this project back in 2019, and they continue to be some of our most special tasting lots. Recently, David has further redefined the profiles with nitrogen-flushed processing.

Please report any discrepancies within 7 days upon receiving shipment.
You are responsible for any import fees or taxes in your country, please investigate with your country’s Customs department – prior to ordering – for import of roasted coffee or accessories.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
